The Buffini & Company Story

For as long as Brian has been presenting his training at the Turning Point™, he has spoken about ‘putting your name to your work’. It is something that is very close to his heart because of the legacy of five generations of the family business in Ireland. During summer vacations working with his father and grandfather, he learned the principles and values that he implements today in his coaching company. At the end of each day, his grandfather would look at the work done and ask Brian, “Would you put your name to that?” If he couldn’t do so, it was expected that he would start over. Buffini & Company was known for high-quality work and reliability, and Brian brought this strong work ethic to his real estate business here in America.

When he started a coaching and training company in 1995, he felt that the name, Providence Seminars Inc., accurately captured his personal philosophy and that of the company. The hand of Providence had accompanied him on his journey and he wanted to reflect the belief that something larger than he would guide the company.

Over the years it has come to our attention that other companies were using the name Providence. The resulting confusion caused us some concern. On top of that, many of you have been referencing us in terms of “are you doing the Buffini coaching” etc. As a result, Brian gave the marketing department the task of developing and clarifying our brand early in 2004. Through this process, he realized that returning to the family business name was more than a homecoming; it was verification that the name captured everything he believed in - a legacy of excellence and consistency.

To clear up any confusion and to answer the question, “Would you put your name to it?” we are proud to announce that we have officially changed from Providence Systems Inc. to: Buffini & Company™

The name Buffini & Company does many things:

1. It continues a proud lineage which began with George Buffini arriving in Ireland in 1868.
   
   
2. It includes & Company. For years Brian has been able to impact so many thousands of people through the dedication and commitment of a staff of over 200 coaches and support staff. This name brings them under the umbrella they have so often held raised over your head as you go to work on building a business of significance.
   
   
3. & Company includes you, our loyal clients. Ireland is a country known for its hospitality. Being in the company of others is something they have always held dear. Brian feels a great sense of gratitude for the opportunity to be in your company.
   
   
4. It signifies that Brian is working inside of his own company – a Buffini at the helm with a family and staff to help him guide the ship.
   
   

Providence is what got us here and we hope it will continue to guide us. Providence Foundation continues as a non-profit, charitable corporation, while Providence University carries forward as our internal training department.

While our name may be changing, we are most certainly not. Brian and his four brothers, Gary, John, Dermot and Kevin, are part of an organization that continues to refine and sharpen its skills to offer you the best tools for success. We are passionate about our work and, as the largest real estate training and coaching company in the nation, we are honored to have the opportunity to impact and improve the lives of others through your referrals.
